Raquel Savage (she/her) is a therapist, sex educator, sex worker, and founder of Zepp Wellness. She is one of our Spring 2021 Impact Grant recipients! Learn more about her work and support.
I’m so excited to use these funds to equitably compensate the Zepp Wellness staff so that we can continue to offer services to the community for free. These funds, in part, will also go towards the rent relief fund where funds are distributed directly to Black trans women sex workers!
Support/community. People showing up, ready to be invested in the creation of Zepp Wellness because they are equally dedicated to offering these services to the community.
My grandfather, who I named the center after, and sex workers, who I always and forever will be in awe of and in service to.
I'm currently reading Revolting Prostitutes, it's a must-read!
I attempt to meet my basic needs every day. I eat when I'm hungry and sleep when I'm tired, etc. This helps me feel connected to my body, and feeling rested also helps structure my entire day. I'm also very organized so that I don't feel overwhelmed. I have an oversized calendar where I can see what my entire month looks like.
